What a treat to see and meet all of the Hay House authors in one whirlwind 92-hour span of gratitude! The WSFS booth welcomed several people - many of whom were there to meet Terah for the first time and attend her Three Sisters of the Tao presentation. Terah created a new handout - one that connects each sister (Chinese Medicine, I Ching and Feng Shui) to our own heart. For this handout, please go here www.wsfs.com/terah/threesisters.jpg .
Would you believe that it was my 13-year old daughter who actually created the PowerPoint that she used? In this world of technology and fast-paced action, Terah encouraged us to re-connect with our heart, our center, to slow down and acknowledge what it is that we give and what comes back because of that.
Check out the www.wsfs.com/terah/threesisters.jpg and you’ll see what she means. The white half of the yin yang symbols are what we give, and the dark half is what we receive from that. It’s good stuff.
big hugs, Liv

Create homes with breathing room. The places where you keep your things need to have extra space so they can hold a few extra things every now and then. In your candle drawer, for instance, keep space aside for a few more candles and candleholders. When a renovation is imminent, put the extras in their “homes” and reduce your stress at both ends of the renovation: at the start when you to store things away, and at the end when you re-assemble your space.

Arrianna Huffington- - A MEMO FROM GOD
Effective immediately, please be aware that there are changes you need to make in your life. These changes need to be completed in order that I may fulfill my promises to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in this life. I apologize for any inconvenience, but after all that I am doing, this seems very little to ask of you. I know, I already gave you the 10 Commandments. Keep them. But follow these guidelines, also.
1. QUIT WORRYING Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?
2. PUT IT ON THE LIST Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can’t help you until you turn it over to me. And although my to-do-list is long, I am after all, God. I can take care of anything you put into my hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.
3. TRUST ME Once you’ve given your burdens to me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on my list. Problem with finances? Put it on my list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For my sake, put it on my list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.
4. LEAVE IT ALONE Don’t wake up one morning and say, ‘Well, I’m feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here.’ Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It’s simple. You gave me your burdens and I’m taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don’t you know that if I give you these problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with me and forget about them. Just let me do my job.
5. TALK TO ME I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I’m in control. But there’s one thing I pray you never forget. Please don’t forget to talk to me - OFTEN! I love you. I want to hear your voice. I want you to include me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with me. I want to be your dearest friend.
6. HAVE FAITH I see a lot of things from up here that you can’t see from where you are. Have faith in me that I know what I’m doing. Trust me, you wouldn’t want the view from my eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust me. Although I have a much bigger task than you, it seems as if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?
7. SHARE You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven’t heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.
8. BE PATIENT I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes me a little longer than you expect to handle something on my to-do-list? Trust in my timing, for my timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, rush.
9. BE KIND Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for my sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please know I love each of your differences.
10. LOVE YOURSELF As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by me for one reason only - to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes my heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Don’t ever forget that!
With all my heart, I love you

Greetings!
Here at Summerhill Ranch we are in my favorite time of year. It’s the time that I call "Frog-Cricket Time"… and it only lasts for a few short weeks. It’s a magical time of year—the air is still moist after the rains and the frogs are high on life, as they lull us to sleep every night with their raucous chorus. And yet, it’s warm enough for the crickets and their sweet tones to join in. Together the frogs and crickets make a nocturnal symphony that opens my heart wide and deep. Soon, however, as summer approaches and temperatures rise, the frogs recede into their hidden crevices to hibernate for another year and the crickets seize the night.
It’s during this time of year that I embark on what I believe to be a supreme act of love. (Okay it’s not that supreme, but it’s definitely an act of love. You’ll see why.)

The decor philosophy is drawing new followers: recovering addicts hoping to reorder their lives.
By Kavita Daswani, Special to The [Los Angeles] Times
May 18, 2008
FENG SHUI was co-opted by the West at the same time that disco started to take hold, and some 35 years later, it’s still rattling wind chimes. Now this quasi-mystical home improvement formula is getting a look from the world of rehab, where its unique blend of wishful thinking and Martha Stewart finickiness is seen as the promise of a more sustainable recovery.
This ancient Chinese philosophy is now being used to help modulate behavior, and feng shui advisors and consultants on both coasts have reported an increased interest in the services from individuals struggling with such addictions as narcotics, alcohol, sex, shopping and gambling. Consulting costs range from $300 an hour to $1,500 per 1,500 square feet.
Ken Lauher, who bills himself as a celebrity feng shui consultant in New York, has noticed a spike in calls from recovering addicts during the last several months, and Connie Spruill, director of education at the Feng Shui Institute of America near Columbus, Ohio, reports that 1 in 10 of her new clients is struggling with a predilection toward alcohol and drugs.
"I think it’s the evolution of feng shui in America," said Sylvia Watson, co-manager of the Feng Shui Institute of America. "There has been a lot of success for people who need help with their career or a relationship, and it’s only natural that people are starting to think about using feng shui in dealing with addictions."

Hi Everyone,
Do you know that the "green" lightbulbs have a mercury lining and are considered hazardous waste?! Check out the following info:
Just a piece of info for you all out there…BE CAREFUL IF YOU BREAK ONE OF THOSE CF/ ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHT BULBS!!!!
I did today and it’s no picnic. If you happen to break one, please remember:
- DO NOT TOUCH IT!! ( Like I did, to pick it up )They contain mercury powder. Use gloves you will throw away.
- Turn off your heat/ air so you won’t circulate it around the whole house
- Open up as many windows as you can
- clean up with with disposable paper towels, sponge…do not use your vac!! Whatever you touch the area with must be tossed out, place bulb & waste in sealed plastic bag
- call your local town waste disposal center as to how to dispose of it.
The guy from there today told me it’s very expensive if you happen to break one on your carpet…luck for me I didn’t. You can buy the "double sealed" bulbs ( that look more like regular bulbs ) rather than the spiral kind. Looks like now I’ll be going out & spending more on those!
Be careful, my friends, I never knew they could be so much trouble!!

http://www.energystar.gov/ia/partners/promotions/change_light/downloads/CALFacts_and_Assumptions.pdf
and scroll to page 4 for mercury stuff.
The GE website (www.ge.com and Search for "CFL") says: Like paint, batteries, thermostats, and other hazardous household items, CFLs should be disposed of properly. Do not throw CFLs away in your household garbage if better disposal options exist. To find out what to do first check www.earth911.org (where you can find disposal options by using your zip code) or call 1-877-EARTH911 for local disposal options. Another option is to check directly with your local waste management agency for recycling options and disposal guidelines in your community. Additional information is available at www.lamprecycle.org. Finally, IKEA stores take back used CFLs, and other retailers are currently exploring take back programs.

Be an Angel
Why You Should Be An Angel
Kindness Shouldn’t Be Random
By Robert Sullivan
Angels live among us. They look like you and me but live their days differently, doling out unexpected kindnesses from dawn to dusk. A quick example: Several years ago I was driving in New Hampshire, and I slowed at the Hooksett tollbooth to pop my quarter in the bucket. The toll-taker leaned out of the booth and put up his hand—Stop! He told me the fellow in front had a dollar, and rather than accept the change, he said, “Let the next three cars through on me.”
I recalled that incident after hearing about what seemed, on the surface, like a very similar one involving a man named Arthur Rosenfeld. You may have heard about him. His story unfolded last December in the drive-through line of a Starbucks in Pompano Beach, Florida, when a guy got impatient because Rosenfeld hadn’t moved his car up sufficiently enough to free up space at the microphone. The guy in back started yelling and honking. Rosenfeld, rather than giving the honker a pop in the kisser—as he could have, being a martial arts master—calmly told the barista, “Let me pay for the coffee of the guy behind me.” He paid the tab for the honker, and this, believe it or not, set off a spontaneous chain reaction of people paying for the next car’s coffee that lasted throughout the day.

Q. Hi!
I have a Bagua curiosity. Should one coordinate purely within the colors of the Bagua Map into the main floor? For example, my living room beautifully aligns with the Helpful People/Travel "gua", but does it mean I need to decorate and colorize this space with whites, grays and blacks only? This seems silly. Or would it be enough to collect certain pieces in these colors? Always wanted to ask this question…
Thank you! Gina
A. Dear Gina,
Your question about color is a popular one! You’ll find a full explanation about color in the Western Guide to Feng Shui, Room by Room on page 69. Color is powerful and personal. The colors related to each of the Bagua
areas stem from the 5 Elements (also covered in the book) and are best utilized only when you really love them. When you don’t prefer a color, or it in some way doesn’t fit well into the space you’re working on, you certainly aren’t required to use it. Ultimately, your Feng Shui goal is to enhance every Bagua area with colors and items that you really resonate with, so that your whole environment nurtures, strengthens, and inspires you.
Enjoy!
Terah
